ACPS\' Training and tutorials in Applied Clinical Pharmacology

Concern about the return on investment and tightening of the clinical development portfolios has led to a now quite obvious reduction in the workload for more scientific clinical pharmacology studies in the early clinical development of new medicinal products and formulations.

In addition, the predominant focus on formal quality (regulatory compliance), time- and cost-efficiency has led to a critical loss in content quality ("scientific excellence") in the management of such projects and services.

There is need for better training and qualification of staff at the sponsor and at the sites providing such services (either by conducting such studies or by handling their on-site quality management).

ACPS has prepared a series of training & tutorial modules to this purpose that are focused on several aspects of applied clinical pharmacology, including PK-, PD- and PKPD-topics. These modules are customised to the specific needs of the sponsor and the intended audience (in-house staff, site investigators, etc.).

Training sessions are held either at ACPS (Central Operations in Mainz-Kastel, Germany, or at our affiliate in Sofia, Bulgaria) or at the sponsor's facilities. For further information:
